Second day on the ward. I'm starting to feel less like a fish out of water, and more like a fish in a tiny bit of water. Learnt about the checklists that need to be completed on each shift, something to do besides sitting there, with only 3 patients it is bound to be quiet. :)
Got "the keys" tonight, well one set of them anyways. Makes it a little bit more official. Also got my ID badge (Paige; Registered Nurse). Feels GREAT! And i gave my first lot of tablets unsupervised!! Small achievement, but very exciting!! Everything is slowly falling into place...Thank goodness!!
I might turn out to be ok at this nursing thing afterall. :) x
